Meet the Clinician

My name is Alyssa Guseila-Lamberti, and I am a speech-language pathologist who helps kids with written language disorders, like dyslexia, find their footing as readers. I built Hearth because I believe every child deserves the chance to become a confident reader and communicator with the right support.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida and my Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Rush University. Since then, I have spent the past 2.5+ years providing individualized speech, language, and literacy assessment and intervention for children across a range of ages and needs.

When I am not working, you can find me in a coffee shop, with my nose in a book (very fitting, I know!), playing with my two cats, or hunting for a new mug (I have to have one dedicated to every occasion).

Why “Hearth”?

A hearth is the center of a home, the place where stories are read and shared. Reading is how children unlock those stories. Writing is how they learn to tell their own.

My Approach

I use evidence-based methods with individualized treatment planning for each child. Sessions are available virtually across Wisconsin in a warm, judgment-free space where kids’ communication skills can grow.
